Draw With Katie – ‘People’
Learn how to draw people with Katie’s online tutorial!
Following on from Katie’s incredibly popular ‘Draw your house’ workshop, we are excited to offer part 2 – this time all about drawing people!
With Katie, you will learn to draw a baby, child, adult and people in a street scene.
This workshop is most suited to people aged 16 and over and you do not need any prior experience! It is however very handy to do the Buildings workshop first as lots of the basics are covered in the first tutorial.
What to expect? The video itself lasts for approximately 30 minutes, but this does not include your drawing time. We would normally allow 3 hours for our Illustration Workshops, including a 20-minute break for important tea, biscuits, wine etc. The 30-minute video includes a short introduction followed by a lesson from Katie, including a demonstration and Katie’s top-secret tips for figurative illustration!
Once purchased, you will be sent an email with the link. You can then download it and watch it as many times as you like!
Please note you are unable to share the links – please do tell friends and family about the workshops but please do not try and forward the workshop via email or a digital sharing platform.
Need to know: Included with the video are 5 photographs for you to use – a baby lying down, a baby sitting up, children, a family, and a selection of people walking for Section 2.
We will be using fine liner pens and A3 cartridge paper. If you already have these at home that’s brilliant, otherwise we have created a Workshop Support Pack to make life easier, this includes 10 sheets of A3 cartridge drawing paper and 2 fine liner pens (the ones that Katie usesWe recommend you to buy the pack, but it’s not completely necessary. We also have a lovely 50 sheet A3 sketchbook.
This workshop is suited to people aged 16 and over.
