Katie Cardew Illustrations produces premium fine art prints, homewares and greeting cards, all starring Katie Cardew’s fantastically unique and stylised illustrations. Based in a studio nestled between the Rutland/Northamptonshire border, Katie has been producing beautiful illustrations for five years. Katie started the business producing commissioned illustrations of houses, families, weddings, and illustrations for businesses and magazines. Her popularity went from strength to strength and the fine art print and homewares range grew organically, sitting beautifully alongside the commissioned work. Katie still divides her time between commissions and creating new designs and is very lucky to now have a fantastically supportive team around her.

In 2017 Katie won the ‘Small Awards’ digital business of the year – a fantastic accolade and an event Katie will remember forever. Later that year, Katie was selected as one of just 100 small businesses, as part of SmallBiz100. Following on from the selection, Katie was invited to 10 Downing Street for a private reception – a fine day indeed!

Katie and her team are dedicated to supporting British manufacturing and are proud that all their homewares are printed and produced in the UK. A rare sight these days! Where possible, Katie has supported local businesses and her tableware and packaging all come from within a 10-mile radius. In this consumerism world, Katie advocates the ‘buy once, buy well’ mantra and would love her products to become part of people’s homes and lives for the duration, loved and looked after. Introduction to Illustration Workshop is no exception and takes place in our rural studio.
